yes this is the same shoot with Sunny, Alexandra and photographer Priscilla Gragg but I wanted to do two different posts since this is so appropriate for Valentines Day. Having said that-HAPPY VALENTINES!
Valentine's Day is all about the snuggles, hugs and kisses so you definitely want to make sure your makeup can withstand all of that - and more :)
MAKEUP TIPS:
-foundation: make sure your foundation is long lasting. use a silicone based formula (face and body by Makeup for ever) and/or set your foundation with a setting spray (MAC Fix+) to avoid loosing some foundation on your man's shirt
- eyes: use in a smudge proof liner (I love 24/7 pencils and liners form Urban Decay) and a waterproof mascara (smokey lash by Makeup for Ever). You don't want to cry and have a horrible black line running down your face. Scary! (for him and for you)
You can also secure your eyeshadow by using a primer and/or using a wet brush. Simply grab your eyeshadow using a brush and spray your brush with Fix+. This will add insurance to your eyeshadow but also will intensify the color, so keep that in mind.
-lips: keep the KISS PROOF (the most important in my opinion) by using a lip stain (Covergirl outlast lipstain or Stilla lipstains) followed by lip balm to keep your lips moisturized.
If you do decide to go with a bolder color use a long wearing lipstick ( Maybelline superstay 24hr or Covergirl outlast lip color) OR use your favorite lipstick, blot the excess, set it with a loose powder, blot the escess and add one more layer of the same lipstick. HE will appreciate the extra work- they hate wearing your lipstick.
